The Guilford County Board of Education is committed to the involvement of classified employees in the decision-making process, and the Classified Employee Advisory Council (CEAC) is a means of involving classified employees. The purpose of the CEAC is to serve as a liaison between classified employees and central office administrators in order to identify, express, and resolve system-wide concerns.
The Superintendent or designee will meet with the CEAC representatives on a regularly scheduled basis, and a calendar of meeting dates will be established. The meetings will be scheduled for the Board Room in the Eugene Street Administration Building.
Each school and each administration building shall elect a classified employee in August of each year. After the CEAC election, submit the name of the CEAC representative to the Associate Superintendent for Community Services. Questions that are to be addressed during the meetings should be submitted in writing to the Associate Superintendent for Community Services.
