Achieving Education Excellence

The Southeastern Region includes 26 schools rising to academic excellence in Greensboro, High Point, Gibsonville, McLeansville, Liberty, Pleasant Garden and Sedalia.

Phyllis Martin, an experienced public school administrator with a demonstrated track record of 18 years, is the Southeastern Region superintendent. Joining her as executive director is Steve Oates, a former GCS instructional improvement officer. Kevin Conaway, the formative assessment coach, David Berry, the instructional technology coach, and Monique Wallace, student services administrator, offer direct assistance to schools in their areas of service. Susan Parker and Phyllis Garrett provide office support for the region.
